First impression of Japan? Totally different to back home. The cold weather was something that took time to get used to. & people are very punctual. No Fiji time business.
What is dormitory life like in Japan? Very fun experience and a good opportunity to experience the culture first hand while learning the language.
Favourite food? Lovo (Fijian Hangi), Yakiniku, McDonalds
Favourite Japanese Word? ゆっくり〜 Take it easy..
Future ambitions? Footy wise; Just wanna play as long as I can, and most importantly try and get to play in the highest level. Off the field, would wanna get a good education and have a secure job.
People you look up to and why? My Parents. We’ve all been through a lot as a family and I admire all the hard work they do for us boys.
Favourite player and why? Waisale Serevi. Small player who pretty much put Fiji on the world map.
Advice to high school players? When one door closes, another one will open. Grab every opportunity you get and make it count, on & off the field.
Favourite Quote? Stay ready, and you don’t have to get ready.
If you weren’t playing rugby what would you be doing now? Would wanna be a school teacher.
